Receiving my RN education from a Community College my memories were stirred by your article. Starting college at the age of 27 as a single mother with two small children I did not have the confidence that I would be able to achieve my goal. I wasn’t a very good student in high school. Community College taught me that I could learn and be good at learning. That learning came through my non nursing subjects, liberal arts subjects. I apply them today at the age of 70. Thank you for your article that reminded me that I am smart and I love to learn.
